Episodes - Week 11
Battle of the Islands
This week, new arrivals 19-year-old Brie and 20-year-old Jonathan begin their Shipwrecked experience on Tiger Island, where Brie is an instant hit due to her luxury item of herbs and spices. Shark mole Faith and temporary Tiger Keris decide that they will both work on behalf of the Sharks to ensure the new arrivals keep an open mind about their former tribe. Marvyn confides in Ricky that he is not comfortable having “two Sharks on Tiger Island”.
After telling the Tigers she is considering moving islands, Lauren has had a change of heart and now wants the Tigers to know, in no uncertain terms, that she’ll never leave the Sharks. Lauren decides to write a letter to the Tigers and leave it on the pontoon. On receiving the letter, the Tigers are shocked and appalled by Lauren’s words and declare war between the tribes. Faith and Keris are upset and feel that Lauren has shown no consideration for them and the fact they have to live amongst the Tigers. They feel that all the work they put into persuading new arrivals Brie and Jonathan to keep an open mind about the Sharks has now been ruined by Lauren.
Jonathan and Brie reluctantly cross the lagoon to Shark Island for the second half of the week. Unaware that the new arrivals have already written them off, the Sharks take them into camp for a chat. Learning the effect that the letter has had on the Tigers, Lauren feels she has let her team down.
At the beach party Brie has been converted by the Sharks however, Jonathan is not willing to budge on his choice and when it comes to decision time they announce that they have reached a stalemate. For the first time, the fate of the new arrivals is decided by the flip of the Shipwrecked tribal coin. Brie tosses the coin and is devastated when the result is Tigers. The Tigers pick John and very emotional Brie is sent home.

The Third Island
Over breakfast on the Third Island, Nick raises the subject of killing Chops the pig and suggests James should be the man to do it. The tribe put the pig issue to one side and go to the beach to welcome their new arrival. A heart-broken Brie is thrilled to see she is going to an inhabited island and not going home.
The tribe meet to discuss the subject of killing the pig and the debate pushes them to breaking point. When put to the vote, the four girls are out-numbered by Char and the boys and it is decided that Chops will be killed. Lottie takes the decision badly but accepts it was inevitable.
When the time comes James kills the pig quickly and humanely. That night the tribe eat separately for the first time, as Char and the boys enjoy the pig in camp and the girls take refuge on the other side of the island eating their normal meal on the beach.
