What’s the best thing about being home?
Well nothing is best really I would give it all up to be back on the island but probably the freedom- being able to go where I want and when I want.
What do you miss most about island life?
Living day-to-day life on the island. The people I had around me- we are seriously close and being apart from them so much now I am home is heartbreaking.
What was your most memorable moment?
I have so many… where to start.......probably the night that me and Carly danced for Matt and Mike, that sticks out a lot, just because we were so nervous and it was the first show that we had put on for new arrivals.
Worst part of the Shipwrecked experience?
Worst part of the Shipwrecked experience? I wish I had one so that I could think about that and then I wouldn't want to go back so much but even the horrible stuff like the long drop are funny so I can't actually think of anything bad about being shipwrecked!
Who did you get on best with?
Well of course Carly played a big part and we were best mates from the start, Jack was like my brother and then Ricky and I were close. Matt is fantastic too.
Anyone you won’t miss?
Erm..... I won't miss people’s habits rather than actual people. And obviously the people I wasn't close with I won't really miss.
Who did you fancy?
Well it’s obvious that I fancied Ricky he is a good looking cheeky Essex boy so what’s not to like!
Would you do it all again?
YES YES YES.
Would you recommend it to anyone else?
I would seriously recommend the experience to everyone- but at the same time it’s unique so I would like only a few to have the chance so that I can think I have done something that not many people have the chance to do.
How has the experience changed you?
Well I am definitely more independent- moving out is now definitely a must. Also I have had my eyes opened so I am appreciating my city life a lot more. Its a bit weird but just going shopping in a supermarket is a boss day out now!
Was being “shipwrecked” what you had expected?
Not in the slightest. Living on a desert island for a few moths sounds like an easy ride to me........but how I was wrong. You have to work at making island life fun which at times was a lot more difficult than I could have ever thought.
What does the future hold for you now?
Moving out of my mum’s house and having lots of fun partying. I am going to pursue my ambition of being cabin crew- doesn't sound that big a deal but that’s my dream and I also want to live abroad for a few years so lots of change.
