Operation Yewtree: the arrests and charges so far
Information provided by Operation Yewtree, which was triggered by revelations of sexual abuse carried out by the late radio DJ Jimmy Savile, has led to a number of high profile arrests.
Veteran presenter Rolf Harris appeared in court on Monday to answer charges of alleged indecent assault against two teenagers.
The Australian artist, musician and television presenter is accused of assaulting two alleged victims, who were aged 14 and 15 at the time, between 1980 and 1986.
The 83-year-old was arrested by officers working on Operation Yewtree, the national investigation launched after abuse claims were made against Jimmy Savile, but the allegations against him have no connection to Savile.
Operation Yewtree has received information from 589 people relating to the scandal, with a total of 450 complaints against Savile himself.
