11 people dead after fire at holiday home for people with disabilities in France

11 people have died after a fire ripped through a property in eastern France which was being used as a holiday home for people with disabilities.

Another 17 people were evacuated after the blaze broke out early this morning , officials said only those staying on the ground floor had been able to escape.

The French Prime Minister travelled to the scene to support victims and their families.
