The Armenian government has said that more than 90,000 residents of Nagorno Karabakh have now left the disputed territory.
That’s over three quarters of the population of the self-declared republic.
The area is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan, where it’s located – but it’s been administered by the ethnic Armenian majority there since the fall of the USSR. But yesterday the leader of Nagorno-Karabakh said his government will dissolve itself and the republic by the 1st of January.
