A R Rahman: ‘I love every culture through the music, I see the soul through the music’

He first came to Britain after an invitation by Andrew Lloyd Webber and went on to win two Oscars for his score for the film Slumdog Millionaire. His music has graced our Olympic opening ceremony and he was even part of a super-group with Mick Jagger.
