The actor Albert Finney has died at the age of 82.
Described as cinema’s original “angry young man”, the Salford-born actor had a career lasting more than 50 years.
He was nominated for an Oscar on five occasions and was known for his roles in films such as Tom Jones, Erin Brockovich, Skyfall and The Bourne Legacy.
