Actor Vicky Knight: ‘I am much more than my scars, I’m not just a victim’

Actor Vicky Knight was severely burned in a deadly arson attack when she was just eight years old.

In 2019 she won acclaim for playing a young mother who was the victim of an acid attack by an ex-boyfriend in ‘Dirty God’.

Her latest role, in the film ‘Silver Haze’, sees her playing a nurse who, like her, was severely burnt as a child.

Symeon Brown went to meet her and to find how and why she wanted to mix the real story of her childhood with the story in the film.
