Afghan filmmaker Sahraa Karimi on her ‘lucky’ escape from Kabul

Director Sahraa Karimi was the first woman to chair the Afghan Film Organisation. She was in Kabul when the Taliban entered the city.

Now in Kiev, Ukraine, we spoke to her about her escape – but began by asking, having managed to flee, how she feels now about what is unfolding in her country.
