A teenager from Iran who arrived by dinghy on a Kent beach on Christmas day has won a place at college – and hopes to become an airline pilot.
18-year-old Zainab Hossaini made the risky journey to the UK by herself from Iran.
She’s now waiting for her asylum claim to be processed, but this comes as the Prime Minister warned that those making the dangerous channel crossing would be sent back.
