Afghanistan: Johnson pledges to help people ‘reach safety’

Boris Johnson has paid tribute to what he described as the biggest and fastest emergency evacuation in recent history.

But he admitted more than 300 Afghans eligible for the UK’s resettlement scheme remain stranded in Afghanistan.
