Aid reaching Gaza drops to lowest level in 11 months – official Israeli figures

The amount of aid reaching Gaza has dropped to its lowest level in 11 months, according to official Israeli figures.

That’s despite a 30-day deadline set by the US almost a month ago, threatening sanctions if humanitarian supplies didn’t increase.

Israel’s new foreign minister downplayed the ultimatum, while also talking of progress on a ceasefire with Hezbollah.

However a spokesman for the militant group said it hadn’t received any official proposal.
