Airline passengers stranded overnight at Stansted Airport

Hundreds of airline passengers were left stranded overnight at Stansted Airport as flights were delayed or cancelled due to snow and ice.  The sub-zero temperatures are due to cause disruption across large parts of the UK until the end of the week.
