Al Ahli hospital blast ‘likely’ caused by missile fired from within Gaza, Rishi Sunak says

Rishi Sunak has told the House of Commons that the explosion at Gaza’s Al Ahli hospital last week was likely caused by a missile fired from within Gaza.

The assessment that Israel is not responsible for the strike, as claimed by Hamas, was also voiced by President Biden last week.

The Prime Minister also announced an extra £20 million of aid to Gaza, before taking questions from MPs about the crisis.
