Babies transferred from besieged Gaza hospital – amid reports of imminent hostage deal

Their fate captured global attention. Now 31 premature babies have been evacuated from Gaza’s main hospital – a place decimated by Israel’s siege and operation to destroy Hamas – which the UK has designated a terrorist organisation. Israeli troops are still in al-Shifa, searching for evidence of a Hamas command centre.
