Bake Off’s Prue to advise new government review into hospital food standards

Hospital food doesn’t have the greatest reputation. But the government hopes – not for the first time – that, this will soon change.

Today, the Department for Health and social care announced a review into hospital food standards in England, with celebrity Bake Off star, Prue Leith on board to advise.

The move comes after six people died contracting listeria from food,  provided on hospital sites earlier this year.
