Bannon ‘ordered to appear’ before grand jury

President Trump’s former chief of staff Steve Bannon has been ordered by special counsel Robert Mueller to testify before a grand jury, according to the New York Times, as part of the investigation into whether there was any collusion between the Trump election team and Russia. It would be the first time someone from Mr Trump’s inner circle has been summoned to the grand jury. Earlier today Mr Bannon was testifying in private at the House Intelligence Committee.
