Benjamin Mendy found not guilty on six counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault

Manchester City player, Benjamin Mendy has been found not guilty of six counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.

But after a trial lasting five months – the jury was not able to agree verdicts on two other charges against him.

Mendy will now face a retrial later this year over allegations that he raped one woman and tried to rape another.
