Bernie Taupin on being inspired by Terry O’Neill and making art

He wrote the words to some of Elton John’s biggest hits – including Rocket Man and Candle in the Wind, but the lyricist Bernie Taupin has now turned to another long term friendship in a new exhibition.

It’s inspired by the photographer Terry O’Neill – who famously captured the pop culture of the sixties and seventies – and we spoke to him about how he first became friends with Terry O’Neill.
