Biden looking forward to working with Putin on climate change

It’s a little over a week since the US announced tough new sanctions against Russia. But President Joe Biden today said that President Putin is a man he can do business with – at least when it comes to climate change.

On the second day of a virtual international summit, Mr Biden urged world leaders to view tackling climate change as an “opportunity for economic prosperity”, ramping up investment in renewable energy and cleaner economies. The White House also announced that President Biden will make his first overseas trip in June – to Cornwall, for the G7 summit.
