Biden to halt arms shipments if Israel invades Rafah

President Biden has made Rafah a red line – vowing to halt weapon supplies if Israel launches a major invasion. Despite that, constant shelling has been reported in the southern Gaza city – which is sheltering around one and a half million Palestinians.

And the Israeli Military chief has just said he has all the weapons he needs anyway. The far right National Security Minister Ben GVir tweeted “Hamas Loves Biden”.

The US President’s decision has drawn criticism from US Republicans too, and even some fellow Democrats.
