Bloody Sunday soldier faces murder charges

It’s nearly half a century since one of the darkest days in Northern Ireland’s Troubles. 13 demonstrators were killed in Londonderry on what became known as Bloody Sunday – the 30th of January 1972. Today, Northern Ireland’s Director of Public Prosecutions announced that a former Paratrooper will be prosecuted for two murders and four attempted murders.
