‘Blow to global leadership’ if US does not send significant aid to Ukraine, says former ambassador

Later this week, there will be a vote in the Senate which is likely to back a 95 billion dollar aid package for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan.

But its fate in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives is more uncertain, especially given Donald Trump’s less-than-enthusiastic stance on military backing for Ukraine.
