Bombardier to sell its operations in Northern Ireland

The aerospace firm Bombardier has announced it’s selling its Northern Ireland operation – which employs up to 4,000 people across several sites.

The Canadian manufacturing giant said it was in talks with the workforce and unions about the transition – but union leaders said the sale created even more uncertainty for staff about their long term future.
