Boris Johnson and Ursula von der Leyen agree to continue UK – EU trade talks

They’re still talking – Boris Johnson and the EU chief Ursula von der Leyen have promised to “go the extra mile” in the effort to reach a post Brexit trade deal. Until this morning the chances of any such agreement seemed pretty bleak. But although the two leaders are keeping the door open – just Mr Johnson warned they were “still very far apart on key things.”
