Boris Johnson calls on ‘Partygate’ Committee member to resign

Boris Johnson has called for the resignation of a senior member of the Privileges Committee after allegations were published online that Conservative MP Sir Bernard Jenkin had also attended a party during covid restrictions.

The Committee’s report into whether the former prime minister lied to MPs is due to be published tomorrow.
