Boris Johnson may have misled Parliament over lockdown parties

There’s significant evidence that Boris Johnson may have misled Parliament over lockdown-busting Whitehall parties on a number of occasions – according to a Commons committee which has been investigating him.

Mr Johnson, who was fined by police as part of their investigation into the gatherings, insisted there was no evidence in the committee’s report that he had known the rules were being broken when he told MPs they were not.
