The Prime Minister hasn’t budged from his insistence that he can do that – despite an Act of Parliament that would force him to ask for an extension if he hasn’t got a deal by the middle of October.
But as well as Brexit, Mr Johnson also wanted to talk about spending plans, declaring the Government was embarking on ‘the biggest hospital building programme in a generation’.
