Boris Johnson refuses to comment on police call out after row

Boris Johnson isn’t answering any questions about what happened in the early hours of Friday morning when police were called to the London flat he shares with his partner Carrie Symonds, after neighbours reported sounds of screaming and shouting.

A neighbour who made the call – and handed a recording of the incident to the Guardian newspaper – told the paper today they hoped anyone would have done the same, out of concern for those involved.
