Boris Johnson is back in front of the reopened House of Commons this evening facing questions from MPs about his failure to prorogue parliament and his plans for Brexit.

Boris Johnson is back in front of the reopened House of Commons this evening facing questions from MPs about his failure to prorogue parliament and his plans for Brexit.

The Prime Minister rushed back from his visit to the United Nations in New York early this morning after the Supreme Court said his suspension of parliament was unlawful and promptly cancelled it.

In a typically robust speech at the despatch box just now, he said the Supreme Court had been wrong to get involved in what was a political question.

Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn described him as “dangerous” and not fit to hold the office of Prime Minister.
