British Airways suspends selling short-haul flights from Heathrow

In an unprecedented move, British Airways has suspended selling short-haul flights from Heathrow for at least a week.

The decision to stop new bookings on domestic and European services is because of the airport’s cap on daily passenger numbers as the industry continues to struggle with a surge in demand for travel.

Tens of thousands of flights have already been cancelled this summer.
