The training of Iraqi troops has also been suspended.
Mr Wallace said there was “a case to be made” that America acted in self-defence in killing the Iranian general.
The Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn said it was “widely regarded as an illegal act” and accused the government of failing to stand up to America in the hope of securing a trade deal.
