Bumper year of elections in Britain after Covid forces delays

Voters across Britain are going to the polls tomorrow to elect new parliaments in Scotland and Wales, a variety of councils and mayors in England, as well as Police and Crime Commissioners.

With some ballots delayed from last year as a result of Covid, everyone in Great Britain has at least one vote to cast, while some will have four.

All the party leaders have been busy campaigning across the country, making their last pitches for support.
