Gordon Brown’s ex-spin doctor gets a new job
Justin Forsyth, who was Gordon Brown’s head of communications at No. 10, has a new job – chief executive at Save the Children.
It’s a return to the voluntary sector for Justin – he was head of policy at Oxfam before going to No. 10 to work for Tony Blair.
Justin was the man who was in the back of the government limo with Gordon Brown after the former Prime Mininster’s chat with Rochdale’s Mrs Duffy, and it was Justin who witnessed Gordon Brown look down just after the fatal words – “some bigoted woman” – had been uttered and spot the radio microphone still attached to his lapel.
Gordon Brown himself is still tapping out his thoughts on the global economy, considering some university lecturing and pondering aid projects.
