PM wades into broadcasters’ pay row

The suited Whitehall types listening to the PM have been treated to a very political speech. He said a belief in the power of government as a “force for good” was in his DNA but not present in his opponents’ DNA.

He also said employees earning over £150k at publicly funded broadcasters should be compelled along with the rest of the public sector to reveal their salaries. I think the BBC management recently did just that, so I assume he has the broadcasters in mind.
