Wrong Ed in Labour leadership battle

Steve Pound MP took a call a few days ago asking if he’d “come along to support Ed at a rally in Ealing Town Hall” (in Pound’s constituency).

Pound enthusiastically agreed as a longstanding supporter of Ed Miliband. Problem is, as he discovered on his way to the rally just now, it’s for rival candidate Ed Balls.

Pound has decided to go to the event anyway in a spirit of comradeship but is not switching horses.
