Barrio broadcasters

My visit to the literary festival in Cartegena found three of us in rare coalition meeting kids in the poorer barrios of the town.

Plan Colombia has a literacy campaign there, together with other anti-poverty programmes. One of the projects involves encouraging young people to do their own news reporting.
