Mourning Mandela: the people queue to bid farewell their way
In Pretoria queues were stretching around the block.
In searing heat, without water or shade – South Africans have been waiting in their thousands for their last chance to say goodbye to Nelson Mandela.
His body – in an open casket – will lie in state at the city’s government building for three days.
After yesterday’s memorial which resulted in much critisism against President Zuma – this was a moment for South Africans to pay tribute – their way.
