Making European history in Stockton South – video

The Prime Minister is hosting a barbeque for Tory MPs in Downing Street tonight.

Why? Well tomorrow the back bench bill which would force any future government to hold a referendum on Britain’s EU membership goes before parliament. Mr Cameron and Tory ministers are backing it, but not the Lib Dems.

If it succeeds it could mean an in-out referendum on Europe in 2017.
