Calls for Karen Bradley to resign over Northern Ireland comments

Karen Bradley has been forced to apologise over comments she made about The Troubles.

There have been calls for her to resign over her suggestion that deaths caused by the security services were “not crimes”.

Her comments come at a sensitive time, as a decision is due next week on whether British troops involved in the Bloody Sunday massacre in Londonderry in 1972 will be prosecuted.
