Can the government deliver end to homelessness for veterans this Christmas?

Veterans affairs minister Johnny Mercer has promised to make sure that no veteran of the British armed forces sleeps rough this Christmas: and not just that – he’s made it his personal mission to end homelessness among veterans altogether.

He told this programme that his ambitions are on track, thanks to the dedicated hotline Operation Fortitude, even though rough sleeping among the general population has gone up this year.
