Candidates confirmed to succeed Mark Drakeford as the new First Minister of Wales

There will be just two candidates vying to take over the leadership of Welsh Labour and succeed Mark Drakeford as the new First Minister of Wales.

It has been formally confirmed that Education Minister Jeremy Miles and Economy Minister Vaughan Gething received sufficient nominations from fellow members of the Senedd.
