Chaos at UK airports as e-passport gates fail

Long queues have been building up at major airports around the UK after electronic passport gates stopped working – leaving many passengers forced to wait for several hours.

All this after separate technical problems led to British Airways cancelling more than 175 flights on Friday – with services affected into this morning.
