Charlie Gard dies after life support withdrawn

Just days short of his first birthday, Charlie Gard has died from a rare genetic condition,following a long-running legal battle over his treatment. In a statement,  his mother Connie Yates said: “Our beautiful little boy has gone, we are so proud of you, Charlie.”
