Children in Spain allowed outside after six weeks in lockdown

In Spain, millions of children under the age of 14 have begun venturing outside for the first time in six weeks – as the government begins a very gradual easing of the country’s strict lockdown measures.

Children are now allowed an hour of supervised activity outdoors, as long as they don’t use playgrounds or go very far from their homes. Spain’s prime minister warned: “Maximum caution will be our guideline for the rollback”.
