Children with special needs will suffer “lasting harm” from lockdown, says watchdog

The education watchdog has warned that children with special needs and disabilities will suffer “lasting harm” after crucial support services in England were suspended when the country first went into lockdown.

Meanwhile, the Ofsted chief inspector said the “invisibility” of vulnerable children was a real cause for concern.
