As anger mounts over empty seats at the London 2012 Olympics, Channel 4 News’s Paraic O’Brien offers Lord Coe photographic evidence of vacant blocks at the men’s gymnastics event.
At this morning’s press conference, Channel 4 News’s Paraic O’Brien quizzed Lord Coe over who should have taken empty seats at the men’s gymnastics.
He offered to show the Locog head images of the blocks of empty seating, however the double Olympic gold medallist declined the opportunity to see the reporter’s “holiday snaps”.
“Those venues are humming and are full,” added Lord Coe.
But Locog’s communications chief Jackie Brook-Doyle promises to look at the photographs later to see if they can identify where they were taken.
“Our priority right now is to make sure that people are in those seats,” she said.
