Coming for your meal deal? Wales takes action to restrict unhealthy foods

Unhealthy meal deals are to be restricted in Wales to tackle its obesity crisis.

New legislation due to be in place by 2025 will clamp down on offers like two-for-one promotions on foods high in fat, salt or sugar.

The Welsh Government says action is urgently needed amid record levels of obesity-related diseases like type 2 diabetes.
