More than a million people are currently waiting for community mental health care in England, and that’s left many people going online to seek advice.

On Tiktok, videos about conditions like ADHD and obsessive compulsive disorder have been getting billions of views, although doctors say some, although well meaning, are spreading misleading information and lack context and nuance.
