Concerns grow over new government PPE advice

Gowns, aprons, masks and other personal protective equipment are the first line of defence for many health workers dealing with Covid-19 patients.

Concern about the lack of supply has led to the government advising people to reuse PPE.

But some doctors and members of the public have taken matters into the own hands by buying them independently and giving them to hospitals.
